    are there futures contract limits?

is there a futures contract limit for a position one can take in the nasdaq [NQ] and/or emini [ES] cme futures? if so, what is that limit?

      thanks jason

the values in the ''default position limits'' column are 50 for the nq future and 100 for the es future. are these the numbers that answer my original question?

do the values regular change from month to month or they are relatively consistent?

        Yes.

As far as I know these values do not change from month to month. I suggest to contact our NinjaTrader brokerage team for clarification.

            Hello joemiller,

Thank you for your reply. If you have a Risk Template applied to a Simulation account, this can effect your Max order size. To access/change the Risk template setting (simulation accounts only), from the Control Center please navigate to the Accounts tab, then right click the simulation account in question and select Edit Account. Next, under the "Risk" drop-down menu, you can add or remove a risk template.

If this is concerning live accounts, please reach out to NinjaTrader brokerage. Their email address is brokeragesupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
