But why should users have to pay third-party vendors for what should be core functionality available in other platforms? Clearly there is no technical reason. Conflict of interest. Who are NT’s primary customers….?

My 2c fwiw, it is basic functionality available in most other platforms (and other software) for that matter), is readily achievable from Ninja vendors and has been requested by the user base for years.

I have an indicator that can do this (SidiChartScroll). If you are interested, you can download it and others for free on my discord channel. https://discord.gg/5TgsZJPcVM

Solved.
Use any mouse (it doesn't have to be programmable). Download X-Mouse free software to map your mouse to Ninja hotkey. https://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/...tonControl.htm
Once installed, double click mouse icon in lower right of your Windows to view X-Mouse.
1) Click 'Add' and choose ninjatrader.exe
2) Select 'Control Center-Accounts'.
3) Wheel Up - Drop Down, Choose 'simulated keystroke', then click gear icon. Enter/Type "{CTRL}{DOWN}". Check 'block original mouse input'. Check 'Randomize auto repeat delay by 10%'. Choose dropdown number 2 'as mouse button is released' in dropdown. Ninja Trader hotkey to zoom in/out, by default, is 'CTRL + UP/DOWN arrow'.
4) Click OK, Apply.
Do the same for Wheel Down. Using '{CTRL}{UP}'.
Finally, right click vertical priceline axis in NinjaTrader chart. Choose Properties: Range is 'automatic' + margin lower/upper is '10'.
Simple. Done!
Zoom In/Out like in Tradingview, etc.Last edited by tt123mailcom; 05-06-2023, 11:03 AM.

This works great, thanks for the info! The only downside is it disables the scroll function inside of NT for other tasks like scrolling up and down a menu. No biggie as there is still a scroll bar to use.Originally posted by tt123mailcom View PostSolved.
