Ninjatrader 8 locks up when exiting

Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Pro

Ninjatrader version 8.0.16.3 64-bit, but happened in older versions too.

Occasionally, the platform locks up after I click x on the control panel and click save the workspace.
I have to go to the task manager and kill the processes.

Happens on my two Windows machines identically.

It is certainly unusual that you can recreate the same exact symptom on your two PCs, however, we'll be able to determine the root cause(s) and find a solution for what you're experiencing if you email us at PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com, Make sure to include a link to the forum post, a brief description of the issue, and '2003154 ATTN Patrick G' in the message. Additionally, follow the steps below to include the log and trace files from both of your PCs for review:

• Open Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to Documents > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
• Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Make sure to name these folders in a way which makes it obvious which PC they are from. For example LogPC1, TracePC2.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email (if you need to send in two separate emails, that's fine)
