Version 8.016.3 completely messed up my charts.

Just installed latest version and now my charts are completely messed up and I have not been able to fix them. Are there known issues with this version? Anyone else having problems?

I have attached screen images for 8.0.16.3 on my desktop and 8.0.12.0 on my notebook to show the problem. On my desktop 8.0.15.1 was working fine too.
The charts are now unusable, is there a process to fix these issues? How do I go back to the last version if they cannot be fixed?

Thank you for your post.

Glad to assist. We have seen indicator errors reported on update if these matched the recent additions (Vortex, Block volume). To test, I suggest taking the steps below to reset the instrument .

To reset your instruments, please take the steps below.

1. First, disconnect from any data providers by navigating to the Control Center > Connections menu, and left-click on “disconnect” that appears to the right when hovering your mouse over any active connection
2. Next, reset your instruments by navigating to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
3. In the Database Management window, under the “Update instruments” section, ensure that “General properties”, "Futures expiries" and “Symbol mappings” options are checked and then click Update
4. Lastly, restart NinjaTrader for the changes to occur
5. Once reconnected, please right click in the chart > select Reload All Historical Data.

Just to clarify, there is a slider between the chart trader and the chart to move the chart trader panel. This does not allow you to resize the chart trader?

Yes the slider changes the chart trader panel size but it does not stick between sessions. When I use the slider to move chart trader panel instead of the chart expanding into the new area my windows desktop appears in the new space. Also my custom chart trader buttons do not move correctly with the slider, they get squeezed to one column are only partially visible and are unusable. Also the drawing tools toolbar now occupies a very large area and cannot be resized.

My custom chart trader script has worked since late beta versions of NT8, it was developed using documented programming practices recommended and used in the documentation sample code. It appears something has changed in the NT8 code base breaking existing custom code, just my wild guess.

We added a slider to the visual tree to allow the Chart Trader control to be moved, I suspect this isn't playing nice with your Add On insert logic? We had one issue here we resolved and release .3 to patch that issue. Possible for you to contact us and share the snippet of code you use to insert/remove so that I could try to understand what might be going wrong there. switching to chart trader produces that thicker darker border on the right of the chart window only

but trying to resize chart trader resizes the window instead (moving the right border of the window)
right click on the gray border shows the context menu though
