VVIX Index

What is the correct symbol for VVIX when connecting to TDAmeritrade, I've tried VVIX and $VVIX.X?
On Kinetick or IQFeed the symbol is VVIX.XO but I get an error when trying to add the symbol mapping. "unhandled exceptoin: A foregin key cannot be inserted because a corresponding primary key value does not exist"


Also does it matter if when importing this symbol whether it is a listed as 'stock' or 'index' in the instrument list?

stock symbols should be imported as type stock. Index symbols should be imported as type index. The VVIX is an index.so should be categorized as such. I was able to get VVIX index data from TDA with the following configuration:
