chart trader after update

updated to 8.0.16.1 and now i cant adjust the charttrader window. i can move it across the chart but i cant widen the panel.

Are you clicking and dragging on the left side of chart trader to resize chart trader?

thanks for the reply Chelsea, yes i tried that as well, actually when i first updated on Friday it would work, then today when i opened nt8 i couldnt resize the charttrader window, nor can i right click inside to get to the properties dialog, although i can drag it across the chart window, it wont widen.

I notice you have an indicator applied that makes changes to the wpf elements of the chart.

If you open a new chart with no indicators applied and no template applied, are you able to reproduce the behavior?

Its likely a custom indicator causing the behavior. Many custom indicators that make changes to the UI of the chart were not prepared for the UI grid to change with the new gridsplitter that changes the width of the Chart Trader area.

i too have the same problem with chart trader being squeeze up. i did post a pic of icon missing half of it in another post. and when appying chart trader to chart the chart trader icon is blocked out. all in the new upgrade 16.1

Do you have custom indicators on the chart?

If you open a new chart with no indicators and no template applied are you unable to perform the same steps as shown in the video?

yes i hae custom indicators on my chart and have for 10 + years. yes i open a number of new charts and same thing happens..icon half exposed and when try to load chart trader its whited out and click chart loads but is sqeezed up and unable to use. never ever had that problem until last 16.1 update

There is a change in 16.1 that makes Chart Trader re-sizable. This is a new change that was not present in 15.1 or previous.

new chart has no indicators on loads ok then apply chart trader loads ok but as soon as you load anything indicators, templates it reverts back to same problem

I recommend you contact the vendor that creates that indicator and report the behavior.

Thats crazy, just about all my indicatore are custom. this upgrade has for my cci upgrade that i cannot use because of this condition.why would nina put this out that will effect many users. i'm sure ray and john would not sign off on this.
