    Understanding execution list

    Hello

I'm not sure I understand what's going on with Ninja's execution list
When I open position, it shows "exit" execution
When I close position, it shows "entry" execution

I reset my account and all execution history and started to test once again. At first time everything was logical: at entering position I had entry execution, and accordingly at closing position - exit exectuion. But after session close everything turned upside down

I've attached screenshots which show the issue

Can you explain me its logic?

    Hello rfsettling,

Can you please clarify "after session close". Am I correct the issue only occurs when you keep NinjaTrader running and a new session occurs as per the trading hours template selected?

How many trades did you make before it started to report executions incorrectly?

I suggest to repair your database using the instructions below.

    - Make sure you are flat first.
    - Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via Control Center > Connections > Disconnect
    - From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Database Management
    - Click on 'Repair DB'
    - Press the "Repair" button

Check if subsequent executions are reported correctly.

I repaired my DB and reset my accounts. But after 2 days they show something understandable again

Look at the execution list and opened positions. I have two opened positons and only one execution. It's impossible. Moreover, execution quantity is not equal to position quantity

Seems NT limits my execution list by date or somehow else.. Or just lost them..
I tried to click "repair" once again - in vain

        Hello rfsettling,
Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com.

        - Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
        - Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        - Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        - Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

Within the body of the email please add:
        ATTN RyanM

            Additional information

I see 10015 orders in my history. And only 8 executions. What does it mean? My DB is broken?

Orders would indicate the total number of orders placed in any state (cancelled, filled, etc.). Executions would represent only orders which filled.

We do not have enough information from this to know what the issue is. I would suggest continuing our conversation via email. I have sent you a response recently.
