IB and DAX , FDXM futures

Hello , with 8.16.1 is it now possible to use the dax future (x25 multiplier, FDAX) and the dax future (x5 multiplier FDXM) at the same time?

NinjaTrader 8.16.1 does not have any changes with respect the the FDAX/FDXM. You may review the release notes for 8.16.1 at the link below:

I agree 1000% this is a BUG.
Not only this but with the Interactive Brokers we cant get TICK Historical DATA.
I feel like NINJATRADER are more than happy to promote their own brokerage and data providers they are affiliated with, but not IB.

Thanks for the feedback. With the way Interactive Brokers handles these instruments with the same base symbol, there is really no way for us to differentiate between the two without making significant changes to the core of our platform. This is being tracked internally as SFT-2074 and I've added your votes to the tracking.

For your and other's reference, here are the steps to view one or the other (but not both). By default, the FDXM will be disabled. If you would like to use this instead of the FDAX, please use these steps.

• From the Control Center, navigate to Tools -> Instruments.
• Search for FDXM.
• Once found, click FDXM and select "edit".
• Scroll down to the Symbol Mapping for Interactive Brokers and delete the "-disabled" part of this Parameter.
• Click "OK" to save your changes.

Once this is done, please disable the FDAX instrument.

• From the Control Center, navigate to Tools -> Instruments.
• Search for FDAX.
• Once found, click FDAX and select "edit".
• Scroll down to the Symbol Mapping for Interactive Brokers and add in the "-disabled" just after the instrument name. This will look almost exactly like the FDXM instrument did before.
• Click "OK" to save your changes.
