Chart zoom level is too high

Hi, I having a problem to view the data on the Chart. I imported tick data for a whole day from 9 AM to 18 PM. I am using the 1-Tick timeframe. The zoom level is too high: even if I zoom out, I can see just 40 seconds of data...

If a use a higher timeframe, more specifically 27-Second, I can see the whole range of the data. In any timeframe lower than 27-Second, I can see only a fraction of the data...
    25-Second: 09:00-17:20
    20-Second: 09:00-15:40
    15-Second: 09:00-13:50
    10-Second: 09:00-12:15
    5-Second: 09:00-10:40
    1-Second: 09:00-09:20
    10-Tick: 09:00-09:10
    1-Tick: 09:00:40-09:01:19

Is there any limitation on the amount of data I can show on a Chart? If there is, is there any way to change this?

    Thanks in advance.
    Yours,
    Claudio

    Hello ccbiasi,

    Thank you for your post,

Glad to assist, chart data can be compressed so more can be seen within the chart window. To do this, single left click and hold the cursor in the X/time axis + drag towards the Y/Price axis to compress.

See the below section of our help guide for more on navigating a chart.

Let us know if we may assist further.

      Thanks!

I read the entire section and I learned lots of things I didn't know, which will improve my experience with NinjaTrader. However, it didn't touch the problem I am having. The problem is how to do a zoom out when I have too much information.

To even experience this problem, you must have a database under 1-Minute. Otherwise the problem won't show. Anyone who has worked with a 1-Tick database will know what I am talking about. Try this: open a Chart in 1-Tick. Look at the time axis. What is the range? How about from 17:53 to 18:01? I can see only 8 seconds of my 9 hour database. Well, I wanted to see the whole 9 hours in the Chart. It's no use to try to zoom-out. Control Alt-O does nothing. Draging the X-axis works but not much... The best I could do was reaching 17:49, so I now have 12 seconds...

How can I zoom-out to the full range of the data? Or to access any level of zooming out that is not just the undoing of a previous zoom-in?

      Thank you again.

      Yours,
      Claudio
