Order Language Clarification

Hello,

In the attached pic I show the order window. I have placed two buy stops. The one that says Working is from my live account. The one that says Accepted is on the Sim account. Neither has been filled yet.

Why the difference.

Thanks for your inquiry.

The Order State tells you where the order is at. The general path is as follows:

Submitted - Order leaves NinjaTrader and is submitted to connectivity provider

Accepted - Brokerage receives and accepts order

Working - Exchange receives and accepts order

Filled - Order is filled.

The Sim account will submit orders locally to the Simulator and would not actually reach a broker or exchange. It would be expected to see a difference in received order states between a live account and a simulation account.
