Discretionary trading: scaling out of a position

Is there a way to quickly scale out of a position. Let's say, take half of currently holding shares. I would love to do this either with custom buttons or hotkeys.

Is there a way to program custom buttons in Ninjatrader? Or hotkeys? I have looked at the hotkeys but I don't see any way to set the number of shares to be triggered from the hotkey.

So something like Sell @ Ask for Position * 0.5

You can configure hot keys in NinjaTrader, but unfortunately a hot key with a certain quantity is not supported. I will forward the suggestion to support such a hot key.
