Forward looking bars

In NT7 I used to use negative number to retrieve information from future bars. Example: Close[-1] would give me the close the next bar.

Does NT8 still support this? I'm getting out-of-range errors on all my strategies when using this.

Hello siroki,

Using negative indexes for BarsAgo values is not supported for NinjaTrader 7 and is also not supported for NinjaTrader 8.

I also highly highly advise against using negative indexes as these are likely to cause indexing errors and cannot be used in real-time.

This thread will remain open for any community members that may know of undocumented/unsupported methods of using negative indexes who would like to assist.
