    Third Party Indicator

    Is there a way to look for errors in the log files for a particular third party indicator? Like if it is buggy or has errors during running.

    Thanks for posting.

    Outside of compile errors, the Log tab of the Control Center would be the best place to check for errors with custom indicators. We would also be happy to review your trace files to help track down any errors with custom add-on's.

    I'm happy to check into this with you if you would please email us at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic files in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20171029.XXXXX.txt'. There will likely be multiple files for each day.
