Kinetic for futures, IB for FX

I trade FX futures. My broker is IB. I want to use Kinetick for all futures data (real-time and historical); e.g. the "6J 12-17". I want to use IB only for FX data; e.g. the "USDJPY". Is this possible?

I've laid out instructions for both NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8 on how to accomplish this.

NinjaTrader 8:
To change and select which instrument types come from which data provider, go to Tools>Options>Market Data and then edit the preferred connections to get FX from IB, and futures from Kinetick.

NinjaTrader 7
NinjaTrader 7 selects which instruments come from which data provider by which one is connected to first. Then, if the first 'main' connection doesn't support a certain instrument type, it uses the second data feed you connected to for data. However, since IB and Kinetick both provide live data for all instrument types, all instrument types will come from whichever connection you connect to first.

Thanks! Coming from NT7 here, still learning NT8, which seems a lot more flexible in this regard.
