Market scanner

Is there any possibility to have market scanner which can act like Hot list analyzer but with opportunity to create custom scanner filters?

Thanks for writing in to our Support team.

In addition to the Hot List Analyzer, there is also a Market Analyzer under New --> Market Analyzer that you may find useful. However I do want to mention that both the Market Analyzer and the Hot List Analyzer both have cell conditions and filter conditions that can be applied to each column by right clicking on the window and selecting Columns --> then selecting the column from the Configured section and finding the Cell and Filter parameters under Conditions.

The primary difference between the Market Analyzer and the Hot List Analyzer is that the Hot List Analyzer will not allow you to custom create rows of instruments, while the Market Analyzer will allow you to do this. Is it possible send basic orders like buy at market, buy limit,etc..from market scanner?

Thank you for your note. In NinjaTrader 8, you could accomplish this by creating a custom alert in the Market Analyzer that submits orders based on your custom conditions.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately in NinjaTrader 7 this is not possible. Alerts in NinjaTrader 7 are very limited. You may be able to accomplish this with a custom script however.
