8.0.9 upgrade unsuccessful

Hi NT support.
Again I have problems upgrading to the new version. I have run the tool from Microsoft (repair registry). I have done an uninstall -> restart -> reinstall of NT 8.0.9 (from PlatformDirect) -> restart. It installs, but when I attempt to open NT8, I see it in Task Manager for about five seconds, then it turns red and disappear. Nothing in the log nor trace files but they are both added anyway. Done this twice with the same result.
Please advice...

After downloading the files you provided, I removed the log and trace files from your post as they may contain sensitive information.

Are these the only log and trace files from today? Or are there more files with today's date in the log and trace folders?

As a test, please try the following:

• Close all running applications.
• Uninstall NinjaTrader within Windows Control Panel.
• Rename the 'NinjaTrader 8' located under Start > My Documents to 'NinjaTrader 8 OLD'
• Delete the C:\ > Program Files (x86) > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
• Once these steps are completed, download and install NT8 from the link below.
• http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect

Please let me know the results of this test.

HI Patrick.
That did it. But not without a struggle...
Tried to import my backup, and it crashed NT completely. Had to start all over, and import one item at a time. But then it was okay, no errors in the log or trace file by now.
Btw - thanks for removing my 'sensitive files'...:-)
