diferences between cash values and net profit in a sim account

Dear ll.

I have a strategy in a sim 102 account. this week the strategy performance (Real time) in the chart obtained a net profit of -1089$ but the cash value of the account was -12256$.

Why is hte significant difference?

Another issue, today the number of open positions is 4 and the maximum allowable in the strategy is 1 per direction.

In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic files in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20170820.XXXXX.txt'. There will likely be multiple files for each day.
