Volume Profile

Does NT 8 have an indicator like the one I saw in the chart picture attached? It is volume profile built into each individual bar rather than for the whole day or as it develops during the day as in NT 8.

We do have a dvaluearea indicator that displays information very similar to how a market profile indicator displays, you can download it from this link and import to test if this indicator will suit your needs:

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:

Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.

From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on

Select the downloaded .zip file

NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

Right click your chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK

Thank you very much. Can this also be customized to show the profile intra day too? Like in a 60 minute bar or a 240 minute bar and so on.

There are some solutions out there for profiling in NT. I recommend any of these developers. Check them out and try them for yourself.
