    Given Key not present in the Dictionary

    I just updated to 8.0.8.0 and when ninjatrader loads it greets me with an unhandled exception "The given key was not present in the dictionary." I tried deleting my workspace and then loaded up ninjatrader but the same error occurs.

    For some reason this has also caused all of my strategies that were working perfectly fine on 8.0.7.1 to no longer work.

    Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it?

      Same problem here

      I am also experiencing the same problem and my NT program keeps crashing after a while. I will send an email but please look into this.

        Same here, v. 8.0.10

        Guys, I just upgraded from 8.0.7.0 to 8.0.10.0 and now I also have this problem... On every startup of NT8, I get the error message - "Unhandled exception: The given key was not present in the dictionary". The log also shows an orange warning preceding the error saying "Strategy '118476252': unable to deserialize user data: There is an error in XML document (258,4)" along with two other warnings just like it but for strategy numbers '118476251' and '118476249'. I removed all custom strategies and all saved user templates and workspaces then restarted, but both problems remain: the unhandled exception and the 'unable to deserialize user data'. Is there some procedure that will eliminate these problems?

          Hello Light,

          I would have recommended removing any custom templates and starting without any saved workspaces loading.

          However, it appears you gave this a try.
