NT8 Error - Chart rendering failed. There is likely a problem with......

Hello Support

I'm receiving the following error on a daily basis :

"Chart rendering failed. There is likely a problem with a chart object's OnRender method. D2D error = 'External component has thrown an exception.'

Any idea what could be causing this?

I am using Ninjatrader's drawing tools on my charts if this helps?

This error can mean many things, however, this is typically either an issue with your graphics card (not supported, not powerful enough, out of date drivers) or how a custom add-on in your charts is attempting to draw on that chart.

I'll need to see your log and trace files to learn more about what is occurring in your specific case.

You can send the files by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
