what windows servers are supported by Ninjatrader. Microsoft publishes the windows update in its own timeframe and i have given up on trying to control when is installed on my computers all the steps i have attempted do not work anymore.

There is no officially supported version of Windows server for NinjaTrader 7 as they have not been tested internally, however, many users are running newer Windows server versions without issue. -
NinjaTrader 8 officially supports Windows Server 2008 w/ Platform Update and Windows Server 2008 R2 or later
