Marking the extended session (ETH) with markers from the regular session (RTH)

Hi,
I'm looking at equities data. I've used platforms before which allow you to display the full extended session with regular session markers either by displaying vertical lines or lightly greying out the background of the pre/post sessions or better still both displaying the vertical lines and greying out the background.

Can someone please help me find a way of doing this?

Hello iq200,

Unfortunately there is no setting that will plot vertical lines this way. You could draw vertical lines manually using the drawing tools.

I tried it by combining 2 data series in 1 chart panel. One data series is RTH (regular trading hours), while other is ETH (extended trading hours). However the trading hours break line only plots at the end of the RTH session.

You could also program a custom indicator in NinjaScript that will plot vertical lines this way or configure the background as you describe. You can find information on NinjaScript at the link below.
