MA Envelopes

In the MA Envelope Indicator why does it use numbers for the type of MA? Wouldn't a drop down with the MA name be more easy to choose?

Where do I find a list of the numbers used to match the MA type?

A drop down of MA selection would be more user-friendly. I will create a feature request for this and will update this thread when I have further information. In the meantime, you are quite welcome to make a copy of the indicator and implement such an interface for your own use.

To understand which MA is selected by which number, you could examine the code in the NS editor. For your convenience here is the list:

1 = EMA
2 = HMA
3 = SMA
4 = TMA
5 = TEMA
6 = WMA
