add indicator to chart

I created an indicator for my chart and all I want to do is have a boolean option to draw an EMA on the chart. How do I draw the EMA? Do I call the ema indicator or do I have to draw points myself?

Hello ballboy11,

An indicator is not able to add another indicator to the chart the way a strategy is able.

With an indicator, you would have to create a plot and set the plot to the value of that indicator.

In OnStateChange() when State is .SetDefaults:
AddPlot(Brushes.Blue, "myEMA");

When State is .DataLoaded:
myEMA = EMA(14);

In OnBarUpdate():
Value[0] = myEMA[0];
