Hi,

I want to create a dashboard...There was a thread for NT7 here: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ight=dashboard

however, I dont see the customdrawstring() code,

Are there any hints you can provide for creating a dashboard like this for NT8?

Hello,

A similar sample comes with NT8, it is called SampleCustomRender.

NT8 now uses the SharpDX library for rendering which does provide a much larger resource of tools to use. You can find many examples on surrounding syntax in this forum as most NinjaScript types have the option to render now.

Another approach with NT8 is using the UserControlCollection to create WPF items: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...ub=usercontrol

This may be a better approach for certain concepts, for example, if you needed to interact with the panel this would likely be a better solution.
