Alert working only when workspace is active

I am using the Alert method in my code.

Works fine but It only triggers when the workspace is active.

If I switch to another workspace without closing the workspace with the indicator containing the Alert, the Alert stops working until I get back to the alert workspace.

Thank you for the post.

This would be expected, you would first need to configure the Alerts window to accept alerts from other workspaces. In the Alerts window, right click and choose properties. In the properties list, look for "Recieve alerts from all active workspaces" and check it.

If this is an indicator causing the alerts, you would also need to use IsSuspendedWhileInactive = false; in that indicator so it is active while the workspace is suspended.
