Refresh Display

I have an indicator that displays different views of the data calculated in OnBarUpdate(). I use buttons to select the plot I want but the display does not update immediately. I currently update the display by typing the period of the chart - I just enter the same value as is currently used.

Is there a function I can call to do the refresh rather than typing the chart period to perform the refresh?

Thank you for your question IanC28. There is a method you can hook into called OnRender which will accomplish this goal. More information can be found here

To make use of this on demand, you can set a boolean flag when you push a button, call ForceRefresh, and check that this flag is set inside your OnRender method.
