    Hello,

    Thank you for posting.

I am not certain I understand the goal here, the Smooth property is used for all of the various indicator Periods in the logic. Removing this would essentially break the indicator, did you intended to set a default value for the Smooth, or remove the indicators being used out of the logic altogether?

I look forward to being of further assistance.

I want to remove SMOOTH PROPERTY/LOGIC completely from TSSupertrend.

I have been using Supertrend in other softwares where there are only 2 inputs...... Smooth Parameter / property or Smooth Logic is not at all used in this.

Period input ( for ATR )
      Factor input

      This gives me good results.

I would like to remove this Smooth Input completely from this TSSupertrend Indicator.
      I want in TSSupertrend only
      Period Input
      Multiplier Input

In other words I would like to completely disable Smoothing Logic and parameters...I would like to use TSSupertrend without SMOOTH Logic / parameters.

I do not have coding language...it will be really helpful as to you can tell me which lines to remove/modify from TSSupertrend indicator to achieve this.

Earlier I have been helped for EMA Crossover / MACD crossover etc by your helpful Team.

      Thanks.

        Hello kashyapjdave,

        Thanks for your reply.

As was previously advised you cannot remove the smoothing from the indicator without changing its basic function. It is not one line, it is not a simple change, it would change the functionality. The TSSupertrend was not created by NinjaTrader (it was converted by us from NT7) You may wish to contact the creator of the indicator for assistance or consider using another version of the indicator also available in the NT8 indicators file sharing forums that may provide what you need, linked here for your inconvenience: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...d=7&linkid=783

Here is a basic guideline of how to Import NinjaScripts.
To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.
        To Import
        1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
        2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools>Import>Ninjascript add-on
        3. Select the downloaded .zip file
        4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'
Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:
        • Right click your chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK

Hi. Did you find any solution to this? I'm looking to do the same. Coming from Tradingview/Pine Script, I'm used to just Factor and Period on Supertrend.

Maybe there's a different Supertrend indicator which doesn't apply any smoothing? It's a very simple indicator, strange there aren't many of them in the Ninja Ecosystem.
