Global DIctionary

TradeStation uses a Global Dictionary. Below is a sample code snippet. Is there anyway that NT can can retrieve the data in this Global Dictionary?

using elsystem;
using elsystem.collections;

Var: GlobalDictionary GD(null);

once GD = GlobalDictionary.Create(true,"myGD");


If GD.Contains("TopValue")=false
then GD.Add("TopValue",BenchPerf)
else GD.Items["TopValue"]=BenchPerf;

If GD.Contains("TopValue")
then BenchPerf = GD.Items["TopValue"] astype double;

Hello krofs, and thank you for your question. NinjaTrader 8 is based on C#, and C# programmers traditionally use a globals file to accomplish this goal.

Whichever way you choose, you will want to add some logic surrounding your global objects.
