Seeking advice on installer development

I've developed an NT8 indicator that requires a customized workspace, exit strategies and session templates. I would like to have all of those pre-made, and pack them along with the indicator into an "installer package". My goal is to make it trivial for the users of the indicator to install the whole package - indicator, templates, workspaces, etc.

Coming from years of developing for *nix systems, I lack experience with Windows and .NET. What would be the best approach for creating an installer in the context of Ninja Trader 8?

I can think of the following options:

1) Powershell script
2) Windows Forms application
3) Install wizard (?)

Other?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As a heads up, this would be outside of the realm of what is supported by NinjaTrader Support, but this thread will remain open for any community members that would like to assist.

Using VisualStudio is not officially supported by NinjaTrader Support but we can give tips to help you get started.

We do have a starter project that opens in VisualStudio to point you in the right direction.
