Variables value depend on timeframe

Hi

Is it possible to have your variables values to depend on the timeframe? For example if I have a variable that acts like a multiplier, can I have it to be 2 when I'm looking on a 5 min chart and 1.5 when I'm looking on a daily chart?

Yes this is possible if this is what you code into the logic.

For example you may have a public input for the user to set a value. A private variable to hold the calculated value. And an if statement in OnStateChange() when State is State.DataLoaded that sets the private variable to a calculated value.

Could you please help me with an example like if chart is 5 min then variable X = 2 else if chart is daily then variable X = 1.5.
My problem is that I don't know the code to see what timeframe is being used.

The bar type and interval are in the BarsPeriod object. BarsPeriod.BarsPeriodType and BarsPeriod.Value.
