Senior programmer learning curve

Hi,

A Senior programmer told me he needs time to learn how to code with Ninjatrader methods.

I would like to know what is the estimated time programmers from ninjatrader team consider as acceptable to learn ninjatrader methods before starting coding.

I ask him to slightly modify the VWMA to make it cumulative and code 17 algebra formulas (+,-,/,*) and print() the result into the output window.

How many hours that should normaly take to a senior programmer with no experience of Ninjatrader?

Thank you for your post.

The time it takes for each developer may vary, and of course experience in C#, general programming, or programming for a charting platform can all be factors. There is no estimate we can provide on how long it would take someone at any experience level to learn NinjaScript. Most advanced programmers find it simple to learn, but may wish to fully test what they have learned before proclaiming they understand it.
