looking for indicator that will place a marker on a chart

i need an indicator that will simply place a marker on a chart when a condition is met in a strategy i have created using the strategy builder.

google identifies lots of chart marker indicators and indicator packages with lots of whistles and bells, but i am confused by it all.

where can i obtain just a simple inexpensive marker indicator?

please advise.

So why not just draw the marker directly in the Strategy, when the conditions are met?

but no matter, I will prevail undaunted and un-embarrassed in my quest
for knowledge.
seriously, what are the steps I must take to paint a marker direct from a strategy?

If you created your strategy from the builder, then you must have created some orders. Place your drawing right before the order. The builder should be able to write the statements to place drawings.

Thanks for your post.

As member koganam has advised you can use the strategy builder to create the draw objects you are looking for.

The NT8 helpguide provides a good source for this information. Here is the start point for the strategy builder documentation: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...gy_builder.htm

From those links you can get to the "strategy actions" section which provides examples of "how to draw on chart".
