WANTED: SMA-based MACD for NinjaTrader 8

Hi,

I'm looking for an SMA-based MACD for NinjaTrader 8. Ideally, one that allows selection between EMA or SMA.

I found a post in the forum for a NinjaTrader 7 SMA-based MACD. But, converting it isn't working out for me.

Another posts suggest changing lines of code in the MACD for NinjaTrader 8, but those lines of code do not exist the MACD.

I'm really stumped why it is so hard to simply get a SMA-based MACD for NinjaTrader 8 without having to go through a lot of custom conversion/development effort. Searching the forum isn't turning up anything.
