Customizing Extendable rectangle drawing object

Hello everyone,
I will need your help to customize the Extendable rectangle drawing tool.
I want the rectangle to automatically extend to the right edge of the chart like on trading view. How can I do it?

Hello flomeunier,

That would involve editing the scripts logic surrounding its anchors and rendering. That would not be a simple edit when referring to a drawing tool because mouse actions are involved to place the anchors. Depending on how the script is coded it may be able to leave the anchor code alone and simply render the rectangle to the panel edge however that may make later manipulating the object difficult. If this is an item which you downloaded from a third party I would suggest reaching out to them to see if that feature can be added. You can also reach out to a third party developer to have modifications made to this script. If you wanted to edit the script yourself a good starting point would be to familiarize yourself with the OnRender portion of the code. In that part of the code you could modify the X positions for the right side of the rectangle to be the ChartPanel.W which is the width meaning the X position is the right side of the chart.

I would like to know if I can share your rectangle ext. drawing tool with you, and if it is possible to add the labels option to it, just as you did with the lightning bolt.
It's just adding the option to be able to put text.
