Most performant way to paint rectangles around candles?

I imagine that having a lot of Draw.Rectangles around many groups of candles may have a negative performance impact.

I looked at BackBrush, and noticed that it paints the entire Y region. Is there any way to limit the painting on the Y-axis to simulate a rectangle that bounds the group of candles that satisfy the condition?

I am open to any other suggestions on how to achieve this goal.

This is correct, a large amount of drawing objects will have a performance impact. If there are large amount of drawings, we recommend custom rendering these in OnRender() with SharpDX instead of using Drawing method calls.

From the help guide:
"When using Draw methods, a new instance of the Draw object is created including its custom rendering and calculation logic. These methods are convenient in many situations, but can quickly introduce performance issues if used too liberally. In some situations, you may see better performance for rendering via SharpDX in OnRender()."

Unfortunately, the BackBrush is going to color the full height of the panel and there would not be a way to change this.
