Mark standard deviation levels on candles?

    Hello -
Is there a way (or an indicator) to mark a candle/wick when it has reached a certain standard deviation?

    In the example below, the
    • green crosses mark a closed candle that has touched or exceeded the 2-standard deviation lower Bollinger (green line).
    • pink dots mark a closed candle that has touched or exceeded the 3-standard deviation Bollinger (pink line)
    • on that same extreme candle, the "4" and "5" mark the candle reaching the 4th and 5th standard deviation levels, in addition to the 3rd SD. So it can be clearly seen that that specific candle was very statistically aberrant.
This really helps pinpoint the specific candles that have reached extreme levels. Is there anything like this available?

    Hello asd32,

    Thank you for your post.

I am not aware of an existing indicator that does this, however you could create your own using drawing objects to mark the candles as described and compare the Close price of a candle to various Bollinger levels.

You could also search the User App Share to see if there is an existing indicator.
