Incorporating News Headline

Good evening,

I am looking to incorporate a news headline into my indicator. I want to label if a stock is a secondary public offering when I pull a chart up. I was scraping finviz for "offering" in the news headline to generate my signal and then using that to draw an arrow on the chart. I would prefer to use an API instead of web scraping. I currently use IB as my broker with Kinetick as my data feed. IB has news in TWS. I am wondering if before I buy a separate News API subscription if there is a way to reference the news in IB through either the current connection or with IB Gateway. If anyone has experience with referencing news in an indicator that would be very helpful. Or if there are any resources that I can look at about this that would be great. Thank you very much. Ryan

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, there is no supported way of getting news information from IB. If there is a way, it would be through Interactive Broker's API and you would need to reach to IB for more information about their software.
