[DefaultValue)] in NT 8?
The [DefaultValue(value)] attribute worked in NT7, but it does not seem to be working for me in NT8. Does it no longer work in NT 8, or am I making some mistake? If it does not work, is there an equivalent in NT 8?
Note: I realize it never did set any default value -- it just affected the GUI.Tags: None

In NT 7 [DefaultValue (value)] just changed the font to bold for any property whose value got changed to a non-default value. It was just a visual cue to let the user know which settings were now non-default.
[Display] is not related other than that I would suppose that the best way to implement a default value in NT 8 would be to add a "Default" field to [Display]

Up to you. It's nice, but not really a big deal. Given the choice I'd rather have you address my 9-year-old request for tooltips on AddPlot() and AddLine() items.
