How to default Indicator Label to empty/blank?

    Hello llanqui,

    Unfortunately, this is expected behavior. The DisplayName is the label on the chart and the name of the script in the Indicator window configured list.

      in State.SetDefaults there is/are names being assigned, like normal

        This is correct. The DisplayName is what is overriding the Name when the script becomes active.

          well, then unfortunately there is really no solution...otherwise the list of indicators on a chart have no names...impossible to manage

          please put in a request to fix this, thanks

            Hello llanqui,

            I'll submit a feature request for the development team to consider this.

            Once I have a tracking ID I will post in this thread for future reference.

              I have a lot of (custom) indicators on some of my charts...would prefer to have a global switch as to whether the labels were shown on the price panels

              to me it is just clutter

                This request is being tracked with ID # SFT-2824.

                Please note, we receive many requests and cannot reasonably implement all requested features or changes. Interest is tracked internally and if enough interest is tracked, it would be weighed against how feasible it would be to make those changes to consider implementing, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment.

                When new features are implemented, they will be listed in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide. The ID number may be different than the internal feature request tracking ID, but the description of the feature will let you know if that feature has been implemented.
