Placing a trade when above or below EMA in strategy

Hello:
Looking for a code in strategy to place a long trade when above 9 EMA and short trade below 9 EMA.
Any help would be appreciated.

I see you have posted in the Indicator Development section of the forums but your question is regarding programming a NinjaScript strategy.

Since your question is about programming a strategy, I have moved this thread to the Strategy Development section of the Forums.

You could use the Strategy Builder (New > Strategy Builder) to set up crossover conditions based on the EMA indicator and call Entry order method actions to place orders.

In Set 1 of the Strategy Builder strategy, you would create a CrossAbove condition that checks if the Close price (Price folder > Close) crosses above the EMA(9) indicator (Indicators folder > EMA). In the actions section of this set you would call EnterLong() to place a long order (Order Management folder > Enter long position).

In a second Set, you would create a CrossBelow condition that checks if the Close price (Price folder > Close) crosses below the EMA(9) indicator (Indicators folder > EMA). In the actions section of this set you would call EnterShort() to place a short order (Order Management folder > Enter short position).
