I am happy to see you have solved the problem.
For future reference, if a custom NinjaScript indicator cannot be saved to a template or workspace, there is likely a serialization problem with the public properties in the script. For example, using custom Brushes could cause this behavior.

The XmlIgnore attribute might need to be used on the public property. The XmlIgnore attribute determines if the following declared property participates in the XML serialization routines which are used to save NinjaScript objects to a workspace or template.
