Access OnExecutionUpdate Entry/Exit in Indicator ?

    Hello,

In the execution tab of Control Center there is a field called E/X....shows if it is an Entry or Exit. I would like to access this field in an indicator....is this possible?

    Thx

    Hello llanqui,

    Thank you for your note.

There is no supported way to access the exact value used in the Executions tab for the E/X column. With that said, from an indicator you could use the Account class and subscribe to Execution updates as well as access Execution objects from the account:Then you could establish your own criteria/logic to label each execution as an entry or exit. For example, you could combine the execution information with PositionUpdate logic that determines if the position was flat then changed to long/short, which would mean the execution was an entry. Then, if the position was long and sold or was short and bought, that execution could be flagged as an exit.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.
