    Define ZigZag pattern?

    Is there a way to define a ZigZag pattern?

    For explanation sake, I'd like to define one where a new higher high emerges, a higher low, followed by a higher high, a lower low, then a lower high equal to the first higher low.
    How would I define this? I'm used to doing it by candles, but this pattern may take place over 10 or 50 candles.

    Thanks for your post.

    You could view the ZigZag indicator that comes default with NinjaTrader to see how it detects zig-zags occurring.

    To view the script, open the New > NinjaScript Editor window, open the Indicators folder, and double-click on the ZigZag file.
