Hi, I would like to automatically draw a horizontal line when I open a short or long order. thank you

Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!
Through the Addon approach (in an indicator) you can find an Account and assign this to a variable.
On the account an event handler method can be added to the ExecutionUpdate event, which will run when there is an order fill.
In the event handler method you can call Draw.Line() or Draw.HorizontalLine() to draw a drawing object.
Note, from this non-data-driven method, you will need to call this in the call back function from calling TriggerCustomEvent(). This synchronizes the chart series so that the indexes are properly aligned for drawing an object (or working with series information).
