Exponential Average True Range (ATR)

Hi there,
Is there an easy way to modify the existing ATR script to apply more weight on recent bars similar to EMA (Exponential ATR).

I am new to Ninjatrader, so I apologies if this has been discussed before, but couldn't find anything in the forums.

In other platforms you can pick an ATR Type with options for Simple or Exponential just like MAs.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks for your post.

To create a copy of the script to modify you could open a New > NinjaScript Editor, open the Indicators folder, double-click on the ATR script, right-click in the Editor, select 'Save as', name the script, and click OK.

Then you could modify the copy of the script to suit your overall goals.
