Add a tick by code

Hello
I use the excellent ChartToCsv (https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/use...ad/charttocsv/)
I works fine but need a tick to save data.
When i use replay, i can't save data.
So i would like to know if it's possible an how, add a tick (usig a button ?) to save data in replay mode with ChartToCsv.

Hello stephletrader,

That indicator works based on the series you apply it to. In order to save tick bars you would need to run the script on the tick series that you wanted to save, for example if you wanted to export tick data you could use a 1 tick chart.

Thank you for your reply.
I use this indicator very regularly to export data that I work on in Delphi because I don't have enough command of C#.
My problem is that I want to export Renko data with an indicator like Buy/Sell Volume.
The only solution I found is to play the replay but perhaps another exists?
I am therefore looking to add a tick in order to trigger the save because a tick is enough even for a renko chart

Hello stephletrader,

While I couldn't comment on how to modify that script you could export data of your own by writing data to a file. We have a sample of how to write data to a file here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...o_write_to.htm

Keep in mind that renko bars support remove last bar meaning that they can edit the previous bar data so there would not be a specific way to accommodate that when working in realtime. If a previous bar is removed and changed that would not be reflected in saved data.
