How can I determine of the Calculate method is set to OnPriceChange or OnBarClose

I'd like my indicator to plot differently depending on which calculate option is chosen, but I can't figure out how to find out which has been chosen

Thank you for your post.

You could check the value of Calculate when State == State.DataLoaded in OnStateChange() or even in OnBarUpdate(). You could add prints to verify the value used and also set up conditions in ways such as the following:

        protected override void OnStateChange()
        {
            else if (State == State.DataLoaded)
            {
                Print("Calculate: " + Calculate);
            }
        }

        protected override void OnBarUpdate()
        {
            if (Calculate == Calculate.OnPriceChange)
            {
                Print("Calculate is set to on price change: " + Calculate);
                // do something here
            }

            if (Calculate == Calculate.OnBarClose)
            {
                Print("Calculate is set to on bar close: " + Calculate);
                // do something here
            }
        }​
