How to fill price marker value without any plot

    Hi,

I have created an indicator with OHLC style bars. I managed to get my auto-scaling back, but I'm struggeling with the price marker. As there is no plot present, I think I have to put the actual value by myself, but where? Is it even possible to use the build-in logic?

    Hello Jan,

    Thank you for your post.

Is the general price marker from the Data Series settings not showing/does it not suffice to meet your needs? For example, there is a Heiken Ashi style indicator that is publicly available on our NinjaTrader Ecosystem website that does not use its own price marker; when applied to a chart, the bars change visually due to the indicator logic and the price marker for the original data series is still there. Here is the link to that indicator as an example:Otherwise, if you are looking for a price marker that plots anything other than the price of the instrument loaded on the chart, you would need to consider adding a plot with PlotStyle.PriceBox:
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

      Hi,

      thanks for your answer.
I was talking of the "price marker" of the indicator, not the primary data series. Ok, let's call it PriceBox. As I don't have any plots, but creating the bars in OnRender, I was searching for a method to fill the PriceBox with my data.
I think I will create an invisible plot and set "ArePlotsConfigurable" to false. That should do the trick.
