no sound on 2nd chart tab

Hi,

I have a quite simple indicator that works perfectly when focussed and visible, but as soon as I switch to my second chart on the 2nd tab window it will not sound the alert until I switch back to the first tab chart.

Is this by design and is there a workaround?

That sounds like you may be hitting the IsSuspendedWhileInactive, when scripts are inactive they won't process. Try setting this to false in your indicator and then remove it from the chart and re add it.

Glad you got it sorted. In some cases, it might be a feature to not have sounds playing on things that are invisible, but in others, you'll want to hear the sound, so it's good that they give you control over this behavior.
